CASBE celebrates the one-year anniversary of the SDAPP Technical Reference Panel – a group of leading industry and academic practitioners who provide expert input into CASBE’s work on sustainability in planning.
The panel members meet bi-annually with CASBE staff to discuss and provide insights on what’s happening in the sustainable building sector as well as share feedback on CASBE’s Sustainable Design Assessment in the Planning Process (SDAPP) Framework. This forum enables a direct connection between researchers and practitioners and councils working in sustainability in planning. Discussions are held on issues such as emerging sustainability trends, opportunities for industry engagement and effective engagement with state government planning reform.
We look forward to continuing this partnership and important feedback loop for CASBE.
